The Latest News...

After many years of breeding my lovely goldens, I have retired.  Feel free to contact me for puppy referrals as I can refer you to a good breeder.

Note: One of my past customers who has my dogs' bloodlines just had a litter of puppies and they will be ready July 6th, 2018. Any more info on this, please contact me at gabrielsark@aol.com or call me at 248-752-7000 and I can pass on their info.

The Kennel and property in Farmington Hills are now for sale. If interested, please contact me at above info.

I have enjoyed the many people I have met and have become good friends with many of you.  After over twenty years, I look forward to less "work" but it was such fun work!  I hope to keep in touch with many of you.

With much affection to all of you, Micki

Golden Dog Blog

Welcome to my new "updated" website. I have created this for my future and past customers in order that they would be able to communicate with me and other people who have purchased my dogs. For some time I have wanted a way to communicate with everyone about things like "bad" dog foods, up-to-date info on health or anything that I feel you might like to know. Hopefully this will help and it will also offer you an opportunity to communicate with others who have purchased puppies from me. An example would be if you wanted to get all the puppies from the same litter together and have a reunion...or the same mother...like Bonnie who just turned 15 in November. I will be posting updates from time to time so please take time to read this. If you have any questions let me know...as always, if you need to talk to me please email me directly at gabrielsark@aol.com or call me at 248 626 2243.. Thanks! Micki

Dax the Happy Puppy!

Dax is a very happy and energetic little guy, not to mention too beautiful for his own good.  He is very curious and tries to corral us into doing things his way. He recently started taking his naps in our small main floor powder room.  His attitude is: see mom and dad, I don't have to go in my crate, I'm perfectly fine staying in the bathroom! Unfortunately for him, and as convincing as he tries to be, he can only nap there when we're all around to keep an eye on him! He is playful, and loves the outdoors, but what's so heart-warming is how social and trusting he is with people--he actively goes to them with his tail wagging.  He is a very precious boy with a wonderful temperament.
Writing about Zoe, however, has been very hard as I still get choked up and cannot think about her without having the experience of tremendous loss. Zoe was the happiest and sweetest girl. When she passed, I was touched by the number of condolences we received and that she brought such joy and happiness to others. I am waiting for the day when I can remember her without tears and feelings of loss.  However, in a testament to her, we came back to you, her breeder, when we felt ready to get a puppy.  It is so comforting to us that Dax has a relation to our beloved girl. Dax is not here to replace our girl.  He is special in his own right, but having the connection to Zoe lifts our spirits.
Warmest regards,
Kathe and Rick Bertoncin
