Thank you Erika for letting me know about Silver...The sister Whisper is still alive and well...Shimmer died just a week short of his 13th birthday from pancreatic cancer like his mom and sister Lily. We are not sure if this is hereditary as another dog died of the same thing and she was not related. We are wondering if it is environmental. Where did you take him and are you sure it was kidney? Last I knew, you went to Dr. Wilson as did I...I am so sorry for your loss...glad your family is involved in showing. Take care...Micki

What a great story! These guys really do change your life. I've put two down and it's always the hardest thing to do. Our last golden lived to be 10 and passed away in August of 2010. It sounds like your Tucker had a great life surrounded by a very loving family. Wishing you all the best!
